I found two pills in my pocketbook. They say L463 on them, and are yellow, scored on one side. I have no idea what they are. Any idea? |

Your pills are generic chlorpheniramine, manufactured by Perrigo. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that is available over-the-counter. The most familiar brand name of chlorpheniramine is "Chlor-Trimeton." "Imprint Code: L 463 Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Chlopheniramine [sic] 4mg - Perrigo Description: Tablet - Yellow - Round" RXlist Imprint Search http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/rxlistid.cgi?drug=*463 I found this information by using the "Imprint Search" feature of RXlist. Two other drug identifiers, at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital website and the Wall's Medicine Center website, confirm that this is chlorpheniramine. Rockingham Memorial Hospital: Drug Reference http://www.rmhonline.com/modules/goldstandard/drugid.asp Wall's Medicine Center: Drug Identifier http://www.wallsrx.com/services/cpident.cfm I hope this is precisely what you need to know. If anything is unclear or incomplete, please request clarification; I'll gladly offer further assistance before you rate my answer. Best regards, pinkfreud |
