I need some performance benchmarks for our IT Department. Having a staff to User ratio would help also. |

Gartner is probably the bet resource for this type of information. Depending on your complexity and the user's knowledge, 42:1 to 85:1 are generally in line. What kind of benchmarks are you looking for? Service Level agreements, support call answer times, abandon rates, system downtime, maintenance window allotments, etc |

At my school, there are a few admin to every 30. |

I am mainly looking for support call answer/resolve times as well as SLA's. I checked Gartner Group as well and there is a lot of useful reports but I know there is no magic formula. I just want some averages. |
