Americans currently have the option to contribute $3 ($6 on joint returns) on their Federal Tax Returns to go towards presidential campaigns. Would you please tell me: 1) who else has tried to add a "check off box" onto Federal Returns 2) what the money was to be used for (ie: where was it to go?) 3) why it failed (to be added to the return) Thank you! | |
