We have found a US Web site, www.mediafinder.com/, which contains a
database of extensive information on US and Canadian Periodicals and
Publications.  This site can be searched by a variety of methods,
including industry type, geographical location, etc.   We are looking
for a Web site that contains a similar database of publications and
periodicals for the UK.  The database would include contact
information, editors names, physical addresses, e-mails, and Web site
information.  Ideally, these publications would also accept press
releases.

Besides Willings Press and Bowker, are there any other sites that
offer the same type of service in the UK?  Willings only offers long
term contracts and Bowker does not answer their e-mails.

Willings Press only offers long term contracts and requires a minimum
of 300 GBP (about $600.00 USD) to purchase a 1 year subscription.

Bowker and MediaTel are both significantly higher and we only need
this service for a shorter term of about 3 months.  Once our project
is complete, we will no longer have a need for this service.

Do you know of any services that offer shorter contracts?

publications but its search facility is somewhat limited as you need
to know the name of a publication before it will give a result.

remember it's name but have you tried aksing uour local (in the UK)
