Labor laws(for hiring, firing, contracting staff)

Government Regulation
Import/Export tariffs
Trade Associations
Foreign Direct investment
Housing
Health Care
Retirement/Social Program
Wether there are contractual obligations assigned to non-native
business doing business in Russia

I understand it is a multipart question, but the answers are quite

that i can't find there, nor on russia.com(with all the dead links),

In researching your question, I find that most of the topic areas
don't really lend themselves to answers of a few words or sentences.

However, I have come across a very excellent, online resource that
thoroughly describes the current business climate in Russia, and the
opportunities and pitfalls for US investors and businesses.


The report is sizable without being overwhleming -- a bit more than
100 pages -- and very authoritative.  However, it would take quite a
bit of effort for me to go through it and extract and summarize the
various pieces that pertain to your multi-part question.

So...Would you like me to answer your question by providing a link to
the report itself, along with a summary of its major points?

If not, perhaps you can suggest an alternative approach that would
involve a level of effort commensurate with a question priced at $40.

Regarding the last part of your question - "Wether there are
contractual obligations assigned to non-native business doing business
in Russia" - I can only say Russia is a dangerous country for
non-natives to do business in.  Many westerners have been killed in
the past ten years, so the most important thing is heavy security.  I
don't know if it pertains to your question so much but an excellent
book about life in Post-Soviet Russia is 'Black Earth - A Journey
Through Russia After the Fall' by Andrew Meier.
