How/where can I purchase the video, The Cay, starring James Earl
Jones?  It was a 1974 After School presentation.  I wish to use the
video for use in my classroom, not commercial use.  I do not wish to
receive any answers that are explanations about the reasons for the
unavialability of the video, only an answer that provides a source to
purchase the video.  Thank you.

This production is not currently available to the public. Moonlight
Entertainment is currently trying to gain reprint rights for this
production. This is a long, drawn out process. This classic, forgotten
film will definitely be worth the wait, once released.

I am totally unfamiliar with the film, so I can't evaluate this
article, but a controversy at the time of the initial broadcast like
that described here could help explain why the film has not been
released for home video by NBC Universal (or whoever has the rights).
