Question ID: 496095
What information is available about the effect a vanity 800 toll-free
phone number has on direct response rates when the vanity number is
featured in television, radio, print, billboard or other advertising?

I would like to know facts on businesses that use a vanity phone
number in their advertising, and if they see an increase in direct
response rates.
I do not need to know information on numeric toll-free numbers.

I want data specifically on vanity 800 phone numbers that spell
something, such as 800-next-job.

Bobbie-
These are great. However, were you able to find any other studies
conducted by other companies? It may be best to get a perspective if
there are other companies/research studies to compare and contrast to.

The answers received were very helpful. However, due to no fault of
the particular researcher (I don't think anyway) it did take a few
weeks until a researcher acknowledged that I had posted a question. I
got concerned thinking my question would not be answered. But it was,
and the responses were timely once the question was picked up.
