I'm considering using xsl to format pages. I'd like to be able to go from one representation of some xml data to another without returning to the server. I figured I'd be able to load xml with an xsl stylesheet and then change to a different stylesheet from Javascript based on user interaction. I've never used xsl. Am I thinking about this wrong? Is what I want to do possible? Of course I could just use Javascript/DHTML to reformat my presentation, but aren't there advantages to using xsl? |
