i need to track down the NAMES of SMALL TOWNS in PRESTON STURGES' and
FRANK CAPRA'S movies.... like "BEDFORD FALLS," for example.  please
give me as MANY names as possible. need asap. thank you!!!

so far, I've been able to find 5 such titles and cities. I'm passing
them along to you now, because you wanted them a.s.a.p.

Frank Capra:
"It's a wonderful Life" - Bedford Falls
"Mr. Smith goes to Washington" - Sweetwater (not 100% sure on this)
"Mr. Deeds goes to Town" - Mandrake Falls, Vermont

Preston Sturges:
"The Miracle of Morgan's Creek" - Morgan's Creek
"Hail the Conquering Hero" - Oakridge

* Are you interested strictly in movies *directed* by Capra and
Sturges?  There are other movies that they produced or did other
things as well.

* Should the "small town" play a pivotal part in the movie (as the
setting, for example)? do you want towns simply mentioned in passing?

Hi oceansea:

Well, I've done an exhaustive search of *all* movies directed by Capra
and Sturges, and I've only been able to find one more example of a
small town that is used in these movies:

"The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend", town = Bashful Bend,
director = Preston Sturges

Short of actually watching each film, I'm not sure there's much more
your going to find on this topic. :-)
