The refrigerator stays too cold, even when the thermostat is turned way down. I know some thermostats can be adjusted so they will turn the compressor off at a higher temperature. Sometimes there's a small adjuster screw on the front of the thermostat. I looked at the thermostat, and there's no adjuster screw, but there is a small plastic piece that might be an adjuster (large red circle in photo). There is also what appears to be a small access hole for a tool in the thermostat mounting bracket (small red circle). Does anyone know if this is an adjuster, and if so, how to adjust it so it will turn off the compressor at a higher temperature? See photo at: http://www.rcfinders.com/thermo.jpg Thanks. |
