I'm looking to take a low-budget vacation. I've received any number of
offers in the past to take a weekend trip and listen to a time-share
presentation. I don't mind the hard sell, and I have no problem saying
no. But I would like to stay in a hotel for free, or for a nominal
fee.

What I want is contact information for at least three companies that
will offer me a chance to stay for a weekend in one of their
properties for very low cost -- the properties must be in Chicago. A
complete answer will include information about any costs of the
vacation.

I did some research and determined that there are few (if any)
promotional offers available in Chicago. So I'll expand my question a
bit. I'll accept any destination within 300 miles of Chicago, with the
exception of the Dells, which my wife hates.
