I am about to start my Masters Thesis. The topic I am currently
willing to write thesis on is:

"Implementation and Performance Analysis of UDP Binding for SOAP".

Sir, I need to have your kind advice and comments regarding this thesis
topic i.e. how will u grade this and what do you think are the prospects
for PhD later on. Please comment on it in respect of industrial demands as
well. I will be really gratefull. Following is the detail regarding the
thesis:

"The use of XML Web Services over standard Internet Protocol and mobile
communication systems in ver inefficient, since HTTP and TCP are not
designed for the mobile envirnment. The congestion control and ARQ
protocol of TCP effect high latencies in mobile communication networks. In
particular if SOAP is used by the application, the RPCs will be
transmitted in majority of cases within the slow start phase of the TCP
connection. Thus, in mobile network, the latency of a RPC call is high.

Within this master thesis a UDP Binding for SOAP will be developed which
avoids the problems of TCP. Since UDP is an unreliable protocol an
additional reliability protocol has to be included in the UDP-SOAP
binding. SOAP is a flexible protocol framework and enables the development
of arbitrary protocol functions. Thus the reliability function on top of
the UDP and in addition thhe session management has to be specified and
developed using the SOAP specification. Finally this UDP binging to SOAP
has to be evaluated in compaison to a standard HTTP/TCP SOAP Binding."

Well actually I have to implement the SOAP binding for the UDP i.e.
SOAP-over-UDP Binding. This specification is recently released. You

Do u have any idea where to start and ofcourse how long these Google
researcher will take to answer the question?

An answer is now improbable. You should probabaly resubmit your
question explaining UDP and binding in detail. Are you thinking many
kinds of detergent or only soap? I have no idea if the sarcasm of
frde-ga is justified.   Neil
