HI!,Ihave a wet land area where I laid field tile. I would like to know 
what to plant that will sustain a wet mucky area for a few months out of a
year. Short roots? wet area is has  more mud litle water but hard to
walk or hold the weight of a 3300 lb  tractor  not under water so to
speak but a problem
fast growing bush?- beauty - 6 feet from tile --not a small plant or
plants-Tree with short roots? Somthing to sruce up the area without
decimating field tile 6 to 8 feet away . Where can I purchase on line.

you might want to look into "Bog Gardening"

You didn't say if it was a sunny area or shady.  Hostas grow pretty
well in either if you get the right kind.

try going to the garden web site. it is FABULOUS!!!
lots of forums where gardeners share ideas, solve problems, and trade
seeds and plants.
there is a forum for bog plants and lots of people swapping plants.
