I'm trying to find information on commercial standalone devices that are capable of multicasting / broadcasting standard defintion video in real time over IP networks. Something that would basically take in a s-video / rca / coax input and multicast the video over the network. |

Video over IP has a few soltutions. If you're going to use an analog camera you might want to a look at Digital Video Encoders that support multicast. For example Verint has a product called SmartSight that supports multicase and unicase for video over IP networks. http://www.verint.com http://www.verint.com/video_solutions/gen_ar2a_view.cfm?article_level2_category_id=100&article_level2a_id=180 Hope this helps. |
