Question ID: 497573
I joined Webshots.com and I've noticed that their search engine does
not locate the newer pictures (within the last year). Is there a
simple way that I can search the website and find the newer pictures?

Hi richp,

Clicking on "Daily" under "Webshots Destinations" will take you to this page:
http://daily.webshots.com/

Then click on "Past Daily Photos".
http://www.webshots.com/g/d2005.html

At the menu on the left you can choose the year, then month, you want
to browse the photos.

Please let me know if this answers your question.

Best regards,
Rainbow

Rainbow,

I didn't know that I could search the Webshots "Gallery" pictures like
that. But I'm having troubles searching the "Community" section. For
instance pictures that I've posted myself (Here's an example:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/300449909/300453966OYqmKA) I am
unable to find in a search by keyword.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard!

look, you can access your photos by using the following link:

http://community.webshots.com/user/rprimbs

also, when you uploads the photos, you have selected the following
categorys inside the community:

Community > Hobbies & Interests

then you create a new "category" wich name is "Logan Utah", so.. if
you browse (just like anybody else) the categories... you can find
your photos under the link:

http://community.webshots.com/album/300449909ZjpWrR

you can find all your photos by searching for your username (rprimbs)
at the bottom of the following page:

http://www.webshots.com/explore/advanced

BUT you cannot search for your photos cos (till where I know) you must
be a premium member in order to have your 1yr old photos availables to
search.

I hope my answer was usefull four you and please excuse my english.
Emiliano.
