White powder gold: Among the claims of this stuff include: fruit of
the tree of life, the true form of the philosopher's stone,
facilitates extended life, cures diseases, has references to
superconductivity, and a number of other fantastic claims. The item
in question comes in a 1/2 ounce bottle, contains "dry white powder
gold" suspended in water, is meant to be ingested, and sells for $50
plus shipping. Its primary website is www.whitepowdergold.com.

My only question is this: Is there any substance to this elixir? The
idea of ingesting a heavy metal solution does not sound good at all.

This sounds like a substance whose main effect is to drain the money
from your wallet.

This scam reminds me of an old vaudeville routine in which a con
artist sells a rube a bottle of "Smart Pills." The rube pours a couple
of pills out of the bottle, puts them in his mouth, and says "Hey,
these are just rat turds." The con artist says "See? You're smarter
already."

Ask to see a copy of the MSDS (materials safety data sheet) for "white powder gold"

"dry white powder gold"?? Gold? I bet it ain't!
But it's all right to ingest bits of gold foil, the stuff is inert.
Buy a bottle if Danziger Goldwasser ( a sweet alcoholic bev.). It has
flakes of gold foil swimming in it -after you shake the bottle.
