My company markets to small and medium businesses. We have found that
our services are most likely purchased when a business is starting.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to target these businesses
before or when they start doing business?

Both lists of new companies as well as lists of specific businesses
that help new businesses set up would be valuable to us.

I'm familiar with Dunn & Bradstreet and ABI.

jckos-ga,

Thanks for your question...I'd just like to check a few things:

--when you mention contacting business via lists, are you referring to
mailing lists? Is there information beyond a new businesses name and
address that you're seeking?

--I presume you're willing to purchase such lists (I hope so...as I'm
not aware of free resources that would provide this information).

--as for services that assist new business, I could probably identify
a few, but it would be help to have a bit more clarity as to what sort
of services you have in mind.

Looking forward to any feedback you can provide.

- lists containing any contact information would be good, but we
obviously business name and address would be best.

- We are willing to purchase these lists

As far as businesses that service new businesses, I was thinking of
organizations like:
- attorneys or government agencies that help businesses incorporate or create LLCs
- Telco resellers that set up phone systems
- Postal services that register new business addresses
- Credit Card Processors sales agencies for companies looking to
accept credit cards

Any company that targets new businesses before or when they start to do business.

Hi!

In your question "Does anyone have recommendations on how to target
these businesses before or when they start doing business?", do you
require a marketing strategy in targeting these new businesses?

I was answering this earlier but cannot find marketing tips targeting
new companies. However, I was able to find 5 companies providing new
business listings similar to Dunn & Bradstreet.

Will this be enough as an answer?

Thanks!

I was hoping to get a little more than just list vendors.
