Hi! Thanks for the question.

Please take note that before providing a rating; please ask for
clarification if you will need further assistance in the answers I
have provided below.

The Trendwatching.com website provides some very good articles about
consumer products marketing trends. They even report updates for some
of these trends. Here are some of their observations.

1. Branded Brands

?BRANDED BRANDS means you will get a pizza from Pizzeria Uno on an
American Airlines flight. And onboard perks offered by United Airlines
include Starbucks Coffee, Mrs. Fields Cookies and even a McDonald?s
?Friendly Skies Meal?, including the ubiquitous promo-toy.?

2. Customer Made

?Mind you, CUSTOMER-MADE is NOT plain feedback, it's not
Do-It-Yourself, it's not customization, it's not even personalization,
as all of these happen after companies have decided what the basics
are, which products and services and experiences they're willing to
hand over to consumers, who can then (at best) modify certain
elements, change a color, replace a cover. That's still pretty much a
one-way conversation, business as usual.?

3. Curated Consumption

?CURATED CONSUMPTION is behind magazines morphing into catalogues,
which then morph into eclectic stores, it's behind DJs, restaurant
critics, opinionated bloggers, and rap stars giving consumers access
to their playlists, their cribs, their top 10 lists.?

?Curated Consumption?

4. Experienced Consumption

??consumption validated by a framework of excuse-experiences, to not
only entice consumers to spend, but also to provide them with a
personal alibi??

?EXCUSUMPTION?

5. Insperiences

?Basically, in a consumer society and outside world dominated by
experiences, preferably branded, designed, themed and curated to the
nines, the INSPERIENCES trend represents consumers' desire to invite
brands offering experiences exclusive to the (semi) public domain, to
set up shop within their own domestic domain.?

?Insperiences?

5. Pop-Up Retail

??these initiatives have a tendency to pop up unannounced, quickly
draw in the crowds, and then disappear or morph into something else,
adding to retail the fresh feel, exclusivity and surprise that
galleries, theatres and Cirque du Soleil-adepts have been using for
years.?
