I'm looking for a Puerto Vallarta map for my PDA (Jornada 540, PocketPC). I know I can load a GIF or JPG, but I want something more than that. I'd like a map that can be annotated via some sort of data file XML?), sort of like people annotate google maps. Ideally icons would appear on the map and I could click on them and access info on my pda (from the data file I mentioned above). This way I could find restraunts or shops near a particular point. Working with a GPS should also be an option. This software and map should be free or inexpensive. I would like a general solution for at least the US and Mexico. I chose Puerto Vallarta because that is the area for which I have the most information. |
