Is there any way to trigger a javascript event, or reload the current url with a new page when a windows media movie finishes playing? I've managed to trick Quicktime into running javascript commands with qtnext1="javascript:blah()" but I've had no luck using the same method with ASX files or WM embeds/objects. They fail to load altogether in IE and don't do anything in Firefox. This method(s) MUST work in both Firefox and IE (yes I realize the embed code is different for each). If at all possible, I'm just looking for some sort of javascript function or event to trigger like onFinish() or something, and I can take it from there, but as far as I can tell there is no such function. NOTE: I am unwilling to set any sort of timer based on movie length that reloads the page - it must sync up correctly and movies are not always played at the same speeds, and paused periodically... Thanks in advance! |
