Yes, a TEFL qualification That stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language They are not hard to get - it is not brain surgery. - also there are 'schools' dedicated to that sausage machine. As for China, look forward to being one of three Anglos in a city of 5m. - wherever you go, people will point at you - like a zoo exhibit |

Most of schools in my city ask for a TESOL certificate, which stands for Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages. It is esay as hell to get: my bf got it in 2 weeks. There is a huge need for foreign teachers in my city (I assume that it is the same everywhere), so as long as you are a holder of TESOL you can always find a job in an institution. For public schools sometimes you might need a degree of any level and any major. They just want to show. The only thing you have to watch out for is the spits in the street. |
