I am looking for some organizations in Northern Virginia that either hire or help to find jobs for former substance abusers who have felonies on their record. I want names of organizations in the Alexandria or Fairfax county areas. |

I contacted the Health and Human Services department in Fairfax County and they said that this individual should contact Offender Aid Restoration (OAR) the web site is http://www.oaronline.org/oar/index.asp?NavType=top it serves Arlington, Alexandria , and Falls Church (which is in Fairfax so I'm not sure why they didn't just say Fairfax.) Fairfax's HHS gave me this number as well... 703-246-3033. OAR offers among other serveices "Re-entry services and employment counseling for ex-offenders" |
