Roger that, Bob! I read you 5 by 5!
Thanks for accepting this as an answer, which will also get me paid.
On the back of the Dish Network satellite receiver box you will find,
among other connections, three connectors, two under "Audio" and one
under "Video." Take the cable you have and plug one of the red plugs
into the "Audio - R" plug. Plug the white plug, from the same end as
the red one you used, into the "Audio - L" plug. Then plug the yellow
connector from that same end into the "Video" plug.
Take the other side of plugs, and plug them into the following places
on your Toshiba DR-2 DVD recorder. You will see a section on the back
of the DR-2 marked "Input1" and to the left of that, will be four plugs
marked R, L, Video and S-Video. Ignore the S-Video plug. Plug the red
plug into the "R" plug, the white plug into the "L" plug and the yellow
plug into the "Video" plug.
You no doubt currently have a cable that runs from the satellite box
to your television. You should disconnect this cable (not the cable
that runs from the satellite box to the wall!) from the back of the
satellite box (leave the other end connected to your television) and
connect it to the plug marked "RF OUT (TO TV)" in the "VHF/UHF" area
on the back of your Toshiba DR-2. Turn everything on and make sure
you have a picture on the television.

Search strategy:
Google search on: Dish Network 2700

The above search lead me to the user manual for the Dish Network 2700,
which has the wiring diagrams needed.

I also went to the Toshiba web site, finally found the installation
guide for the DR-2 DVD Recorder, and figured out it's wiring diagrams.

If you go to the above, click on "Resources" then "Installation Guide"
to find the instructions.
If you need Acrobat Reader to view the PDF documents referenced above,
you can download it free from the Adobe website.
