John Maxwell says that "Leadership" is "Influence." To be able to influence, you need to have relationship. Therefore, (in my opinion) Leadership is all about relationship. To apply the above thoughts to your original statement about Character, I would argue that meaningful relationships are more readily built by people of strong character. Therefore, (in my opinion), life experiences that build character also builds leadership skills by enabling us to build meaningful relationships. There is another thing out there about leadership. It's called "Servant Leadership." Essentially, it says (in my opinion) that the best leaders are the ones who serve other people. From a work-place perspective, the best managers are the ones who see their role not as to tell others what to do, but to help others do their jobs well. Just my opinions. I hope it helps. Ed. |

You really should write your own job/scholarship application essays and not pay others to do it for you. |
