I had acrobat pro 6.0 and it worked quite well with the only problem
that it opens very slow. Now i tried to fill a gov't form and it
didn't display properly. so i dowloaded the trial version of version
7.0 and the problem persists.
now I have another problem. My text in forms will always align
themselves t the right.
In brief, I am unable to type in text fillable forms without the
program should align it to the right thereby creating bad looking
forms. is there a way to know what the problem is?
2nd question is how do i change font size in fillable form in order to
display properly my text input?

When *creating* forms in Acrobat 6 or 7 Professional the author can
decide whether to align the text to the left, to the right or
centered. He can decide whether the *field* has a limited number of
characters and then define the maximum numbe; and he can decide to
allow multiple lines. For those form fields allowing multiple lines it
is possible that only some of the lines are visible on the form and
using the escalators one reads the *overmatter*. It depends on the
height of the form field. The author can also decide what the texts
font, size and weights are.

Therefore, any third party forms that you fill out will have been
pre-configured by someone else and I doubt very much that they have
given access to modify their settings. You do not have the ability to
range left if the author has decided that you will range right. Their
back-office may have a system set up wherby *only* text ranged right
will be read.

When you downloaded the "Trial" version, was it the reader or Actual
acrobat Pro. If it was Acrobat Pro i would reccomend making sure your
reader is the proper version poerhaps updating/reinstalling anyway
just to make sure all fonts and such are in the right place. and
attempt to fill out the form w/ it. Also if all else fails you
should try CutePDF www.cutepdf.com it's just like basic acrobat only
WAY faster and it's free.

Hope this info helps.

Good Luck.
