I am a real estate agent and am looking into selling property in Asia
to property investors. I will be focusing on serious investors
rather than people purchasing holiday homes. I would like some data
on the market size, trends and growth rates in Asia.

The countries / cities that I would like data for are:
China (Shanghai / Beijing)
Hong Kong
Singapore
Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya)
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpa)
Japan (Tokyo)
(Country data is essential, cities are a nice to have).

The data I would like is: Volume of sales of residential property in
the above countries / cities over the last 5 years to OVERSEAS
investors.

I also want to know more about these investors, i.e. which country
they are from. If country breakdown of investor not possible, I would
be happy with figures just on UK investors purchasing in Asia.

If possible my preference would be for government or official data
sources, if this is not feasible then I would be happy with other
authoritve sources.

Good quality data sources will be worth an extra tip.

PS ? I have seen and explored the links in this answer,
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=459026 please do not
repeat these data sources.

I have a load of general market information but it's all in PDF so I
can't really post it. Also, I live in Shanghai and have a few
contacts in the RE industry. What is a good way to send you
information or start a dialogue?
