I'm looking for the names of websites that provide short articles on
American history (about the length of your average newspaper story,
not a magazine story).

The articles can't be specialized, and would, I think, deal with
recent investigations into historical matters.  Further, the website
must be continually coming up with new articles, the way New Scientist
and Discover are continually coming up with new science stories.

I am aware of "American History" magazine, which is nearly perfect,
except that the articles are just a little too long (3 pages, on
average).
