What novel ends with the line "He could tell a story," Ben said. ???

This may be one of those, if you know it, you know it. I'm not sure
what tools are out there to search the text of novels - I know there
is googleprint - but it doesn't find it as quoted.

I got a 'hint' this morning - The novel is by an author whose novels
have been turned into recent movies.

This is the last line in a short story by Elmore Leonard, called
"Tenkiller." It is the last short story in Mr. Leonard's book "When
the Women Come Out to Dance."

Hi Jeff;

No, I'm not a researcher, but I was pretty sure that I knew the answer
as soon as I saw your question posted. Someone had a lock on it,
however.

I read all of Elmore Leonard's books, and I especially enjoyed this
collection of short stories. I just remembered that last line, but
didn't know exactly which short story it came from.

Thanks for your consideration, but you don't owe me a thing. Glad I could help.
