Who owns which on-line search engine, and how do I find the owners
contact details in the UK?

Hello Alanhca-ga,

I?ll take my try for your question. Now, please clarify me a few points:

1.- I assume that when you talk of ?owners? you refer to corporations,
not individuals, am I right?
2.- This could be feasible for a limited number of search engines,
which of them are you particularly interested in?
3.- We don?t know whether the owner?s headquarters are in the UK. When
they aren?t, do you want the HQ?s contact information wherever they
were, or a UK branch, if there?s any? Thanks.

1 - Yes I am looking for which companies own which search engines and
contact details that would look after their marketing, particularly
PR.

2 - I particularly want 
MSN (is there a UK contact for Microsoft looking after this?)
Excite UK (know nothing)
UK Plus (know nothing)
Altavista (have address and number but always engaged and would like
any other info you can find)
Crystal Guides Limited (Own some of the others, but who?)
Find UK (Know nothing)
Looksmart UK Limited (Know nothing)
Mirago plc (know nothing)

3 - We only want UK representation.  If there is none we don't need to
know anything else.
