I'm looking for the source of a quote from the last lines of a poem (and where I can find the poem): "And are always surprised/ when the weather/ is simply/ the weather." I am looking for these words exactly. This is not the Ogden Nash quote, "weather, simply weather" from "A Watched Example Never Boils". Thank you. |

Hello rww-ga, I searched using the lines that you provided, and brought up no results. Maybe it would be easier to find if you were more specific regarding the poem. Suggestions are if you are positive the poem is on the Internet, and if the creator of the poem is well-known, or someone you know... etc. It also may be that I'm just utterly unskilled in the google search engine and how to master it. Here was my search strategy: "And are always surprised" and "And are always surprised" "when the weather" and "And are always surprised" "when the weather" "is simply" My strategy was that the webpage would have those words exactly on it, because they are individual lines of the poem. However, the last search brought up no results, and the previous ones didn't bring up anything related to poems. I'd like to help you out, so please clarify your question. Cap'n Durk |
