It was either made in the late 70s or early 80s - I'm pretty sure it
was on like on the weekend, maybe aired at noon (I'm thinking on ABC)

It was about a family moving into this old home - and the son must
have been putting up like a picture frame and broke through the
plaster/dry wall inside his room, and he discovers some sort of jar
that was purposely hidden in the wall and he opens it only to discover
he releases an evil ghost who now haunts him and his family

can anyone help me find out what this movie was called? it scared me,
but I can't forget watching it...
