how do you find the real Mortmain Mountains, not the just the Lemony

It kind of looks like there are no Mortmain Mountains outside the literary source.
Mortmain, as you probably have discovered, is a legal expression (also
a family name) of very special use, and unlikely to have become the
name of mountainous area.

Just an addition:  The Encyl. Brit Atlas does not list Mormain Mountian(s).
