i'm trying to use iMovie to edit some mpg movie that i took on my camera. when i open the files in quicktime, there is sound. but when i drop them into iMovie, there's no sound. all my settings in iMovie seem fine. what should i do? |

If the " Video Play Through Camera " is enabled it sends all audio through the FireWire port and mutes it on the computer. This is a common problem with people thinking they have no audio or an audio issue. Turn this off in iMovie preferences. -- Chris |

Alternately you can check the volume of the movie above the timeline; many people seem to overlook this. |
