My best guess is that it's Dr Finerman at UCLA.
His credentials are very impressive. I think he
was a surgeon for a couple of famous athletes.
I know that he did a hip replacement on a colleague's
wife some fifteen years ago!
The only problem is that he's getting near retirement;
I had a total knee replacement, and he was suggested by
the people at UCLA, who also mentioned another, younger,
surgeon. Knee replacement is pretty routine, I guess, but
mine was not without a pretty lengthy recuperation time!
Good luck. As you know, everyone says, "I wish I had had
this done a long time ago." Actually, I'm not quite at
that point, having put up with a football knee injury for
almost fifty years! [Eighth grade football injury]. |
