Hi jad1234,

With this type of question I have
found that if you provide a little
more detail on the question at hand,
we will probably be able to serve
you better.

I understand all the points of your
question, such as the area, South
Pointe Park. What you are looking
for, the upgrades. Where.. the park
and parking areas. but...

What we need clarification on is
when you say 'city site plans' do
you mean projects wholly funded and
planned by the city? Or would this
possibly include contractor submissions
for upgrades? Is there a particular
timeframe? Very Important. And what
was meant by 'adjacent to the
government cut' Was that supposed to
be Ctr, like Center?

The net doesn't yield a great deal
of info regarding South Pointe, other
than it exists. Some offline study
will probably be involved in this
one. Such as contacting their admin
offices of the city.

Clarification of Question by jad1234-ga on 05 Aug 2002 05:41 PDT
thanks for your responsive questions regarding my query. South pointe
park has 215metered parking slots and in addition many unmetered slots
used by Smith & Wollensky, a restaurant within South pointe park. The
city of Miami beach and the developers of the "Continuum", a condo in
final stages of construction fronting South pointe park, have both
suggested that some of the parking slots, both metered and unmetered
would be eliminated and converted to more park land. A recently
issued(?) site plan may describe these changes and permits for
construction may indicate time frame for this conversion. The area of
particular interest is adjacent to the "Continuum" and Smith &
Wollensky.
The government cut is a alleyway of water connecting Biscayne Bay and
Atlantic. O
