I am 1/4 partner in a business that is disolving. I recently quit my
job (not that I am a partner in) and plan to take the opportunity to
"tie up loose ends" and clean out old files, furniture etc. from the
now disolved business that I am 1/4 partner in. While this business
is not active, we do have assets (and some $) that make us stay a
corporation.

My question is, should I ask the other partners to pay me to do the
"clean up." I think it should take about 2 weeks to get it all taken
care of. I am not sure how much I should ask (hourly or flat fee). I
am sure they would not like to help due to age and location; however,
I want to get it taken care of b/c all of the business files,
furniture etc. are on my property which I am trying to sell.

Since I am taking the time to do this I think it is fair that they pay
me a reasonable and fair wage.
