I require some webspace but do not want to pay anything. Could you point out some websites that offer free webspace, more than 5MB is needed. Thanks, Rob |

There are several webhosts who offer free webspace (for a price). The drawback to "free" hosting is that most will add banner advertisements to your website. Nothing in this world is truly free. If you still want hosting at no cost, check www.50megs.com and www.geocities.yahoo.com. Regards, Jack Dicken www.klicktheweb.com |

One I have used is www.doteasy.com. Now, yes, you need your own domain. No banners, but not many frills, either. There is a $35 domain transfer cost, that can be offset by getting two people to sign up. Or, set a new domain registration (min. $25) through them. My affiliation with doteasy is only that I run a few of my own domains on their hosting. This free hosting is $0/month, and is an ftp type of host, with no fancy interface. You get 10 email accounts, with pop and web access. 100MB of space... No PHP, PERL, MySQL. Although, I'm guessing that isn't a problem for this question. Frankly, this is about as good a deal as you're likely to get with your own domain name. I may have another option, but I'm not quite there, yet.
