I am looking for very large (26 inches) stuffed Sesame Street
characters for sale online.  I believe they are made by Applause.  My
daughter had Big Bird and Ernie 12 years ago, now I want to buy them
for my son and can't find them.  If they can't be found online, then I
need to know where I can find them in the Los Angeles area.  Thanks!

my experience, you can get EVERYTHING at eBay. :) Below I have tried

might not all be exactly what you want. Since the availability of
items on eBay varies from moment to moment, you might want to keep a

I checked the first places that came to mind:
FAO Schwarz
Toys R Us
Fisher Price
Sesame Street

None of them seemed to carry dolls that size.

I ended up resorting to EBay.  However, I can't confirm the height of
the dolls, they look to be pretty good size.  I also am unable to
confirm if these are authentic.  But, in any event, it is a complete
set of characters at what seemed like a low price.  I'm not sure if
this is what you wanted, so I provide it as a comment... in case
another researcher finds a better source.
