How do I write and sell an Ebook on a topic in which there safety hazards (due to nature of topic) and make sure that I am not liable for any injuries or damages that are a result of performing the activities talked about in the ebook. What if information in the ebook that is "less than perfect" or not 100% correct is partially to blame for an injury? How do I make it so I am still not liable? |

Wouldn't you want persons accessing the ebook to tick-off on a disclaimer that says that they recognize the risks and will not hold you responsible? Probably with an email address and message? BUT: once the ebook is in their hands, I doubt if this would be binding on anyone else - someone that person passed the info on to, or someone who was injured when that person had an accicdent with his experiment. And I suspect that in the States such a disclaimer might not be sufficient to divest yourself of liability. This is no legal or professional advice. See the disclaimer below. |
