During Second World War was a big burial place which call ?Babin Jar? (Ukraine, near Kiev ?captal city). There a lot of Jewish and other people were burial by Germen army. Now there is big memorial complex. Sw |

Note: cherwony yar means "red hill" ; cherny yar means "black hill" Both could also refer to military outpost and not to "real" villages. I did, however, locate one village that goes by that name. |
