Hello,

I am looking for a poker engine for use on an online poker web site.
Here's a list of requirements the engine should meet:

- The poker engine must be accessible through a well documented api.
Preferably open source.

- The poker engine must be approved by a respectable gaming committee
somewhere, so that it can be used in a real world poker site.

- The poker engine should be written in preferably .NET or Java.
However, I am interested in any platform/programming language (other
than lisp - I found a poker engine written in lisp at
www.wagerlabs.com, which can not be used). The poker engine is
required to somehow be accessible from .NET/Java based code.

Good hunting!

Hi!

You can download the source code of an excellent poker engine written
in C# (a Visual Basic .NET version is also available), along with a
web interface in ASP.NET

http://www.manning-source.com/books/grimes/grimes_src_poker.zip (C# version)
http://www.manning.com/catalog/view.php?book=grimes&item=source (to
check the VB.NET version and other source code)

This is the source code from a book about .NET
http://www.manning.com/grimes

However, even though this is a well-written poker engine,
I don't think it is approved by a gaming committee.

I hope this was helpful to you.

It's indeed well written but hardly useful for an online poker site.

Anyway, thank you!
