I would like an approximation of the penetration of the following four technologies in industry (not POTW usage): Activated sludge DAF Trickling filter RBC Percentages or numbers are acceptable. Please list market leaders for each technology as well, with any special features that make the product stand out. Paf, is that you out there? Sincerely, elembe |

elembe-ga , Activated sludge and Trickling filters are not propreitary techs and any consultant/engineering A&E firm can build it.So I guess it will be kind of hard to get the % for industry usage. I would think DAF would be preferred in industries with significant oil quantities in their effluents (like refineries and petro chem plants).Other wise in my opinion activated sludge is the leading tech in use today.Although the emergence of membrane bioreactors and integrated fixed film tech is rapidly changing the industrial waste water treatment sector |

Hi Sryan, Thanks for the tip. I figured that, but was looking for some hard facts that I could use in a report I'm preparing. My deadline is about THIS CLOSE so I'd really appreciate anything you could offer - even a link is fine. Dairy processing is the segment. |
