When balancing the equation:

HNO3(aq) + H3PO3(aq) --> NO(g) + H3PO4(aq) + H2O(l)

What is the balanced half-reaction for oxidation?

A. 2H2O + 2H3PO3 ---> 2H3PO4 + 2H2 + 2e-
B. H2O +H3PO3 --> H3PO4 + 2H + 2e-
C. HNO3 --> NO + 2H2O
D. 2HNO3 + 3e- --> 2NO + H2O
