Hello,
I'm after infomation regarding existing products that allow for an
elevator communications system to be wirelessly connected. That is,
devices (such as buttons & displays) on each floor talk to devices on
other floors and in turn to the elevator(s), wirelessly (so no cables
have to be run thoughout the building).
I am aware that there are patents on this or similar products, e.g.,
the following one from Hitachi:

The following is my username & password to "Elevator World online

username: ewresearch and password: balustrade - feel free to use
this for your research
The infomation I'm interested in:
- Are there any such products on the market (& what are they)
- If so, how much are they and are they being used etc ...
- Papers, articles, research (etc ...) done in this area
- Details of wired systems; particularly installation cost
- Any other IP (patents etc ...)
Solutions to this GA questions: Naturally enough relevant infomation
will warrant a reward - not all of the
infomation I have listed is required, that is just stuff I'd like to
know if you come across it or spend a couple of minutes looking for
it. The core of the question is competitive products, followed by
research or articles in this area.
Additional infomation:
- Main elevator companies include; Otis, Shindler, Kone, Thyssen Krupp (spelling?)
- Parts distributors include: Dewhurst
Please include all relevant links & discoveries. Feel free to contact
