The larger dating sevices you mentioned are very similar all over the
country. Together and Great Expectations generally have more men in
their memberships than women, so you would have the advantage of being
selected often. The downside is the membership fees are very high,
but they are flexible if you hold your ground.
If you decide to pursue either of these services, have a limit on the
amount you are willing to pay and stick to it. Do not allow the sales
rep to pressure you into paying more than you can afford or feel
comfortable with. Also, it is not uncommon for people who are
separated to join these organizations. They usually are not ready
emotionally for another committed relationship.
It's Just Lunch is a good organization and well priced, but most of
the locations have many more women than men in their memberships. The
men will be set up all week long and most women will be very lucky to
have one date a week (sometimes it's worse).
I'm not familiar with Events and Adventures, but if you enjoy the
activities the service provides, I suggest you start there.
