Hi There, I am looking for a reference guide, or paper that will allow me to plan accepteable user loads accessing a web server with a business application. For example I would like to know how to calculate the following kind of test: If there are 10 broadband users all with 256k connections to the internet, and the target web server sits behind a 2 Mb connection. Given that each user will be downloading a 1 Mb file each minute, how many conncurrent users can it sustain? How long will it take each of them to download the file e.t.c. I hope this gives you an idea of my problem - Calculating what load of users a given internet connection will support, from the perspective of the web server! |
