Hello and sorry for my bad english (my native language is french). I am looking for informations about the chronology of Google-like results. Who did copy who ? Nowadays, all of the most used search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, Alltheweb) have adopted the same colors for their search results. A big dark blue title with a black snippet and a green url. "Cached" is either grey light or blue light and the places of all these informations are approximately the same for all these search engines. I am looking for articles or other sources to know which search engine created that specific style. Why isn't any of these search engines complaining about all these clones ? Is Google the creator of this style he popularized ? Are there scientific works on colors who brought these engines to adopt these colors ? Thanks a lot for your help ! |
