Question ID: 502884
What is the valuation , expressed in a price times earnings multiple,
that Employee Assitance Program Providers have been purchased for
either in Public Markets (Stock Exchanges) or through private deals?

Tips:
The answer should be objective numerical, not subjective.

I do not want valuations or examples of any sort except for companies
that either sell EAP (employee assistance programs) as a core service
or that, at least, have EAP services within a portfolio of products

I believe we can help you, but please explain what you mean by
Employee Assistance Programs. Are you talking about health insurers,
help-desk firms, or benefits administrators? It would help us quite a
bit if you could provide some examples of the kinds of firms that
interest you.

Thanks a lot for your help. By Employee Assistance Program I mean the
Service which is now Outsourced by about 80% of the Fortune 500, thAT
CONSISTS OF:

a) A call center , available 24 hours a day, where people that may be
experiencing Emotional Difficulties can get help.

b)A Therapeutical Infrastructure, that many times consists of both in
house and outside therapists, which are available to give an x amount
of sessions to users of the service per year.
The service is, logicaly, paid by the companie that hires the EAP.

I would like an example that would sound somethin like this:

x company bought y company, which delivers EAP services, and services
x number of lives, paying x amount oof money, which translate to x
multiple ¨P/E.

Examples:

I do not know of many because the industry is quite young, but ,
around 1995, a company called PPCI was bought by Magellan, a
subsidiary of Merck.

Another famous name in the Industry is ICAS, headquartered in England.
Is this info. enough? Thanks Jorge
