I have a lawyer, but I am in the process of relieving him. He is not
working at all for me. My case is child support. I have just
recently established paternity (got the results in the mail from the
genetic testing facility). Now what do I file? This is in
California. My last court date was to get a court order forcing him
to submit to the genetic testing. So now that I have the results,
what do I file? What's next? Also - my lawyer subpeona his pay stubs
(he works in Texas), but the 35 day suspense has passed and my lawyer
didn't receive the pay stubs. What can I do now? My lawyer didn't do
anything.

There should be a county child support enforcement agency. I would
suggest you take every document you have up to the office they have
and request that they be assigned your case. There is no charge on
your behalf for them to handle the case and they have the ability to
file all the nessassary documents needed in order to obtain a court
order granting you child support payments. They also may get a order
demanding automatic deduction from pay, to withhold income tax returns
in your behalf and such.

I should have added that they can also handle the full paternity
matter for you. Including filing changes to a birth certificate,
informing court of results and then they would begin support payment
process.
