I want to buy a house/apartment in Montenegro on coast or a fiord that
is in good condition for holiday use throughout the year for personal
use & for friends to use.How are foreign buyers perceived and treated(
I am Irish, in my 50's , professional and generally
well-behaved!!)What are prices like? Is it relatively stable
politically. i do not speak the language, but would be interested also
in contributing ( on a voluntary basis) my professional skills - I am
a psychiatrist with special experience in Mental retardation 7
establishing appropriate links in the field & giving of my time&
experience on an altruistic basis.I am not particularily interested in
buying a property as an investment- I want somewhere that I can
retreat to!

How dissapointing, a 50 year old Irish person who is well behaved!

I always thought of the Irish as rabble rousing fun makers!

We Irish tell "Tall stories" sometimes, to present ourselves in the best light!!

Hi lullu-ga/Madainn mhath,

Sorry I can't help you on the practicalities so far, but I too am
searching for something similar to you. I'm a Scot married to a Paddy,
so as well as info sharing there is craic potential. Interestingly, a
high-profile psychiatrist native to our house-hunting region seen as
an obstacle for Montenegran EU entry is still being hunted. How do you
feel about the political situation? Are you willing to give it a go?
All going well, it should be a good investment.
